56-year-old Kenosha man arrested for 6th OWI offense, accused of threatening officer, officer's family

PLEASANT PRAIRIE -- Officials with the Pleasant Prairie Police Department say a 56-year-old Kenosha man was arrested for his sixth OWI offense, and he was also cited for threatening a law enforcement officer.

Police say on Tuesday morning, July 19th, shortly before 2:00 a.m., police observed a vehicle driving on the wrong side of the road on Pershing Boulevard at 75th Street in Kenosha.

The vehicle, which was driving with one tire on its rim, was stopped near 45th Avenue and 75th Street in Kenosha.

The 56-year-old driver was arrested for his sixth OWI offense after failing a series of sobriety tests.

Police say he was cited for threatening an officer and his family following the arrest.

He was also placed on a hold with the Department of Corrections as he was on parole for an earlier OWI conviction at the time of this arrest.
