52-year-old Milwaukee man arrested for OWI, fourth offense after he was stopped on I-94

RACINE COUNTY -- The Wisconsin State Patrol say a 52-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for OWI -- fourth offense early Tuesday, June 30th.

The man was stopped for unsafe lane deviation on I-94SB at Braun Road.

Upon speaking with the man, a trooper noticed an open bottle of intoxicants. Subsequently, the trooper searched the vehicle and located crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia.

The trooper also administered standardized field sobriety tests and the driver was placed under arrest for the suspicion of OWI - fourth offense.

He was taken to the hospital for a legal blood draw and then transported to the Racine County Jail.

He was also charged with possession of crack cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, open intoxicants, and he was held on five warrants with three additional agencies.

Formal charges haven't yet been officially filed in this case.
