$336 million Powerball jackpot has just one winner

MILWAUKEE -- A person who bought a Powerball lottery ticket in Rhode Island is the lone winner of a $336 million jackpot.

The jackpot started at $311 million for Saturday's drawing, but lottery sales caused that jackpot to swell to $336 million.

The new multimillionaire has not stepped forward and the lottery has not said where the winning ticket was sold. To win, the player had to match all of Saturday's five numbers, 1-10-3752-57, and Powerball number 11.

Because of rising sales, the jackpot nearly doubled from $173.5 million on Feb. 1. Powerball is played in 42 states, Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

One winning Powerball ticket sold in Wisconsin was a million-dollar winner. That $1 million ticket sold in Wisconsin was purchased at Pick 'N Save located at 15170 W. Greenfield Ave. in Brookfield.

If you haven't checked your lottery tickets just yet, the winning Powerball lottery numbers are: 1, 10, 37, 52, 57 and the Powerball is 11.
