31-year-old man killed by New London police identified
NEW LONDON -- The New London Police Department has released the name of the man shot and killed by an officer on Friday, August 19th. The man has been identified as 31-year-old Kole Knight of Menasha, according to WLUK.
WLUK says an autopsy was completed Saturday.
The names of the officers involved in the incident are expected to be released next week.

According to New London police, two officers in a marked squad were near the intersection of Algoma and Wallace, when they observed a known man who had an active warrant for his arrest.
Police say when the officers confronted the man, he produced a weapon.
According to authorities, the officers drew their duty weapons and fatally shot the man.
The officers were uninjured.
