21-year-old Janesville man killed in 3-vehicle crash in Town of Eagle

WAUKESHA COUNTY -- A 21-year-old Janesville man has died following a three-vehicle crash that took place on Highway 59 near Road X in the Town of Eagle. The crash occurred Thursday evening, September 8th.

According to the Waukesha County Sheriff's Office, a witness says a Dodge truck was traveling westbound on Highway 59 when they swerved into the eastbound lane of traffic and struck a motorcycle that was eastbound on 59.

Officials say after the collision, the truck collided with a third vehicle -- a Chevrolet Aveo that was also eastbound on Highway 59.

Authorities say the operator of the motorcycle, a 21-year-old Janesville man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the truck, a 28-year-old woman from North Prairie, suffered minor injuries. The driver of the Aveo, a 58-year-old man from Eagle, was uninjured.

The Waukesha County Sheriff's Office says alcohol is believed to be a factor in this crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
