1 year in HOC for man convicted of making death threats against high-profile Milwaukee attorneys
MILWAUKEE -- A man convicted of making death threats against high-profile Milwaukee attorneys has been sentenced after pleading guilty to amended charges on Jan. 19.
James Faustmann, 43, pleaded guilty to one count of disorderly conduct and one count of bail jumping. He was sentenced to serve 90 days in the House of Correction on the disorderly conduct charge, and nine months in the House of Correction on the bail jumping charge -- with Huber release. The sentences are to be served consecutively.
Faustmann was convicted of making online threats against David Gruber and Frank Gimbel. In a separate case, he was sentenced to probation for sending threatening messages to Governor Scott Walker.
