$1 million Powerball ticket sold on Milwaukee's south side

MILWAUKEE -- A ticket sold in Milwaukee claimed a $1 million prize in the Powerball jackpot drawing on Saturday, October 27th.

The ticket sold at Oklahoma Liquor, 933 W. Oklahoma Avenue, matched all five regular winning numbers but not the Powerball in Saturday night's drawing.

Saturday night's winning numbers were 22, 32, 34, 36 and 56, with a Powerball of 33.

The $1 million winner must claim the prize at the Lottery's headquarters in Madison within 180 days of the drawing. The first opportunity to do so will be Monday, October 29.

This $1 million ticket is the sixth big winning Powerball ticket in Wisconsin in 2012. The last big Powerball winners were in May, when Jeannette Sroka of Malone won $1 million and Joe White of Milwaukee won $2 million with a Power Play ticket. Sroka and White won on the same night—May 16.
