$1 million Powerball ticket sold in Fremont in Waupaca County

MADISON (WITI) -- For the third time in the last two Powerball drawings Wisconsin has a $1 million winning ticket.

A ticket sold in Fremont in Waupaca County matched all five regular winning numbers in the Wednesday, May 22 Powerball drawing to win $1 million.  The Fremont $1 million ticket comes on the heels of two $1 million tickets sold in Antigo and Milwaukee for Saturday's record $590.5 million drawing.

The $1,000,000 winning Powerball ticket in Fremont was sold at Fremont Mobil Mart, 302 W. Main Street.

Wednesday's winning Powerball numbers were 09, 31, 35, 41 and 57, with a Powerball of 26.

A $1 million ticket must be brought to the Lottery's Madison headquarters to be claimed.  The winner has 180 days from the date of the drawing to do so.

One of the two $1 million Powerball prizes from Saturday's drawing has already been claimed.  Jason Peck of Milwaukee validated his winning ticket late Tuesday afternoon and will take part in a news conference Thursday in Milwaukee.  No one has come forward yet with the $1 million ticket sold in Antigo.

No one in any state matched all six winning numbers in Wednesday night's Powerball drawing. The Powerball jackpot for Saturday, May 25 is an estimated $50 million ($31.4 million cash).
