MILWAUKEE -- Construction is really picking up -- with changes coming to I-94 and the Zoo Interchange. Ryan Luck with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation joins FOX6 WakeUp to talk about everything that's going to impact your commute.
County F to County P Project:
Sunday July 24:
There will be a traffic switch over night on Sunday at Dousman Road for a traffic switching traffic from one side of the bridge to the other. A new traffic pattern will be in place on Monday morning (7/25). In early to mid-August a second switch will occur at Golden Lake Road. Plan ahead and slow down when entering this new traffic configuration.
Zoo Interchange Project:
Monday July 25:
Overnight Full Closure of I-94 West at 68th Street for pavement marking placement
Tuesday July 26:
Overnight Full Closure of I-94 East at Moorland for pavement marking placement
Wednesday July 27:
Overnight Double Lane closures on I-41/894 South from Greenfield to Oklahoma for traffic switch. When traffic switch is complete, traffic traveling south on I-41/894 will not be able to access the Greenfield Avenue southbound exit. Motorists traveling from the west (via the ramp from I-94 East to I-41/894 South) will have access to the Greenfield Avenue exit ramp.
