More changes coming to the Zoo Interchange; a look at what's going to impact your commute

MILWAUKEE -- Mark Klipstein with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation joins FOX6 WakeUp to talk about all the upcoming construction that's going to impact your commute.

Zoo Interchange:
The extended weekend closure of I-94 East and ramp from I-94 East to I-41/894 South for steel erection was completed over the weekend. Thank you to folks in the area for their patience. Crews were able to dodge the rain fairly well and as a result opened the freeway ahead of schedule on Saturday afternoon. Just a heads up that a few other of these closures are planned throughout the fall.

Work Suspended on Noon on Friday through Monday at 6am for the holiday weekend.

A look ahead to 9/6 - There will be a lane closure I-41 North at Watertown Plank Road for a couple of weeks, folks should anticipate a change in traffic pattern.
