Drivers take note: More changes coming to the Zoo Interchange project

Another ramp closure is affecting Zoo Interchange drivers

(WITI) -- Ryan Luck with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation joins FOX6 WakeUp with an update on the Zoo Interchange project.

Bluemound Road Bridge deck pour completed this week. Work is underway on paving Bluemound Road 95th Street and 97th Street as crews are on target to open in late May.

US 45 South to I-94 West remains closed as work to open a new work zone for construction of the ramp from I-894 North to I-94 West is completed. Ramp to reopen no later than 4 a.m. on April 2nd. After the ramp reopens, the traffic on I-94 Westbound through the interchange will remain on the temporary roadway that it was just switched to this morning and the ramp from US 45 South will merge into those lanes 600' further east than they did prior to the switch.

Demolition of the ramp from I-894 North to I-94 West will continue Friday (3/27), Saturday (3/28), Monday (3/30) and Tuesday (3/31). This work requires overnight closures of I-894 South and I-94 East.

The I-94 East exit to 84th Street is scheduled to closure Monday night April 6th for one week.
