MILWAUKEE - High pressure is taking control to start the week, giving us a quiet Monday with sunshine, light winds and seasonal temperatures. A weak disturbance could squeeze out a few showers Monday night into early Tuesday, mainly much farther north, but dry air will win that battle closer to home. South winds pick up Tuesday ahead of a cold front that looks more impressive on the weather map than it will probably feel on the ground, with very little moisture available for rain. High pressure settles back in for the second half of the week. There is a small chance for some rain around Friday, but right now this looks like a remarkably quiet stretch of October weather.
