Rare bee discovered in Wisconsin
The rare Parnassia miner bee (Andrena parnassiae) was recently discovered and confirmed by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources at the Blue Lotus Center near West Bend, marking one of only four known occurrences in Wisconsin. FOX6 NOW spoke with Jay Watson, an insect ecologist with the Wisconsin DNR, about this discovery.
