When it comes to Packers memorabilia, there's something you should look for to ensure it's authentic

GREEN BAY (WITI) -- You've watched them practice and play -- and you've cheered them on all season long. Despite the loss to the defending Super Bowl champions in the NFC title game Sunday, January 18th -- ending the Packers season -- you're still proud of the Pack. Looking to commemorate what was a great Green Bay Packers season? Here's how you can get your hands on some authentic Packers memorabilia.

Chuck Krall is a self-proclaimed "die-hard" Green Bay Packers fan. He's been watching the Pack for decades, and gets all his favorite players' photos from "Legends of the Field" on North Port Washington Road in Mequon. He made a stop at the store first thing Sunday morning -- ahead of the big Packers vs. Seahawks game in Seattle.

"I figured I`d get here early before anything starts happening and get home before the pre-game and stuff," Krall said.

Debbie and James Jooyandeh were on hand -- picking up some last-minute items for their Packers party.

"We have people coming over for the game. Got to get ready!" Debbie and James Jooyandeh said.

From canvas paintings to game-day helmets and signed jerseys, everything is authentic at "Legends of the Field."

"That`s why I come here. I trust everything I buy from them," Krall said.

So how can you be sure something's authentic? Look for the special hologram.

"Just to always verify that it`s authentic -- that there`s no questions. That it`s not a fake autograph and not some guy in his basement signing Packers helmets," Legends of the Field Store Manager Adam Billmann said.

The hologram is important because there are fakes out there.

"Absolutely, and I mean, a lot of times if it seems too good to be true, it usually is," Billmann said.

If you have a prized possession with an authentic autograph, display it right and hang on tight because its value will likely grow over time.
