Unbeaten Baylor blasts Notre Dame, wins NCAA Women's Crown

DENVER -- National Player of the Year Brittney Griner scored 26 points and pulled down 13 rebounds to lead Baylor to the NCAA Women's Championship, with an 80-61 win over Notre Dame on Tuesday night, April 3rd.

The Bears became the first team in history to win 40 games. They cut down the nets for the first time since 2005.

The Fighting Irish lost in the title game for the second straight season.
