Snowmobile trick at Winter X Games goes horribly wrong

ASPEN, Colo. (WITI) -- A snowmobile trick attempted during the Sunday competition at the Winter X Games in Aspen, Colorado went horribly wrong for Jackson Strong.

In the middle of his massive jump, he lost his grip on the snowmobile and crashed into the ground a moment after the vehicle slammed down.

After the two crashed into the ground, the throttle on the snowmobile was stuck wide open. The machine raced across the snow and careened towards a crowd of spectators.

Fortunately, nobody was seriously hurt.
