Ed Fritsch inducted to Packers Fan Hall of Fame



GREEN BAY (WITI) -- A 90-year-old man from Sheboygan is the 15th and latest inductee into the Green Bay Packers Fan Hall of Fame. He is Ed Fritsch.

Fritsch has been a Packers season-ticket holder for more than 50 years. He was nominated by his friend Randall Pfister, who said that Fritsch has been a regular at home games for more than 25 years.

Fritsch is a veteran of World War II, having served in battles in Italy during 1944-45, and was awarded a purple heart for combat injuries.

As the latest inductee, Fritsch will receive four club seat tickets to a 2013 Packers home game, he'll receive acknowledgement as the 15th honoree, he'll get his name imprinted on a plaque in the Packers Hall of Fame, he gets a $500 gift card to the Packers Pro Shop, plus a road trip for two to a Packers away game.
