Senior guard Becky Blando leads Pius "Lady Popes" this season

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Becky Blando of Oak Creek is a senior at Pius High School in Milwaukee. She is the guard of the Pius High School "Lady Popes" basketball team.

Blando says she started playing basketball in second grade.

She says her best moment was winning conference two years ago (in 2012 - when she was a sophomore) against Arrowhead.

When she graduates this spring, Blando is set to attend Kishwaukee College in Malta, Illinois - where she will study nursing.
