RACINE (WITI) -- This week, as the Green Bay Packers prepare to play the San Francisco 49ers, the folks at Racine's San Fran Grille have been getting grilled about their name! However, despite its name, the place is all about the green and gold!
For the past four years, San Fran Grille owners have been competing for Packers fans -- offering a variety of specials to get people in the door, and it appears to be working.
This weekend, as people pass the place, the owners are hoping the business's name doesn't drive potential patrons away.
"I don't think it's too much for a challenge because we do have the big Packers guy in the window and they know us as good Wisconsin girls, so we'll promote the Packers all the way through," a San Fran Grille official said.
Just in case the 49ers fans get too headed on Saturday night, the owners had a word of caution for the Californians: "Enjoy the game, but know that the Packers are going to win."
The folks at the San Fran Grill are hoping for a Packers win on Saturday night, and a big crowd to watch the game!
