Pup's Picks: NFC North face-off this week -- Packers or Vikings? Who will "Sam" pick?

MINNEAPOLIS -- Each Thursday night, Wisconsin Humane Society pups appear on FOX6 News to make their Green Bay Packers pre-game prognostications. In Week 11 the Green Bay Packers were gearing up to face another division rival -- this time, on the road.

The Packers were set to face the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, November 22nd.

The 6-3 Packers were in a slump -- losing the last three games, and falling to the lowly Detroit Lions last Sunday at Lambeau Field.

But the good news this week is that it's only Week 11, so there's still time to take back control of the season and division.

"Sam" is a four-year-old hound mix available for adoption at the Wisconsin Humane Society. Sam is an athlete himself, and would do great in a home where there's plenty of room to run around. He can even do drills with you in the backyard!

So -- who will Sam pick? The Packers, or the Vikings?

The Wisconsin Humane Society is auctioning off a "Packers Thanksgiving Day" package that includes four tickets, a limo to Lambeau Field and back, jerseys, chairs, etc.

It's a once-in-a-lifetime VIP experience up for grabs, and 100% of the proceeds will support two very important causes in Milwaukee: the Wisconsin Humane Society and the Urban Ecology Center.

The package was donated by an animal lover, Jim Schleif from Shorewest, Realtors – Northshore.

The auction closes on Monday, November 23rd at noon.
