Packers WR Jennings out for Colts game

GREEN BAY (AP) -- Green Bay Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings will not play Sunday, October 7th at Indianapolis.

Coach Mike McCarthy said Thursday, October 4th that the two-time Pro Bowler will miss the game because of a groin injury that has nagged him all season.

Jennings suffered the injury in the Sept. 9th regular-season opener against San Francisco, then missed the team's Sept. 13 victory over Chicago. He returned to play at Seattle on Sept. 24, then aggravated the injury last Sunday against New Orleans and had to come out of the game in the second quarter, after a 9-yard touchdown catch.
