Packers trade Worthy to Patriots
Green Bay --
After two injury-filled seasons, plus an entire offseason, the Packers have traded defensive end Jerel Worthy to the New England Patriots for a conditional future pick.
Worthy, who's been sidelined by a bad back, has to be cleared by the Patriots before the deal goes through.
The 2012 second round pick from UCLA is one of 3 players picked in that class (safety Jerron McMillian linebacker Terrell Manning) who are now longer with the team.
