GREEN BAY -- The Green Bay Packers will host two "NFL Draft" events late this week and this weekend during the "2016 NFL Draft" -- one in Chicago, and one in Green Bay. According to a release from the Packers, the first event will be a pep rally on the first day of the draft in Chicago -- on Thursday, April 28th. The second event will be a party on the third day of the draft in Green Bay -- on Saturday, April 30th. Both events are free to the public and space will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at each location. According to the Packers, the pep rally in Chicago on Thursday will be held at Will’s Northwoods Inn for Round 1 of the draft -- with a program beginning at 7:30 p.m. Packers officials say Will’s hosted a Packers Everywhere pep rally during the 2014 season, and will offer special food and beverage specials for fans at the rally. Packers alumni Mark Tauscher, Frank Winters, Chris Jacke and Mark Chmura will be present at the rally. On Saturday, the party in Green Bay will take place at Lambeau Field's 1919 Kitchen & Tap. Packers officials say the restaurant will open to fans at 10:00 a.m., and a program will begin at 11:00 a.m. Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy will participate in the program at 1919 Kitchen & Tap, along with alumni Jerry Kramer, Dave Robinson and Gary Ellerson. Giveaways, raffle prizes and special menu items at 1919 Kitchen & Tap also will be available for attendees. Each event will include draft coverage on TV screens throughout each venue -- and WiFi internet will be provided so fans can stay in touch with the draft during these events.
