Packers players visit sick children at Children's Hospital
GREEN BAY (WITI) -- The Green Bay Packers may be done for the season, but a group of players visited children at Children's Hospital on Wednesday, January 8th.
Five players, including Scott Tolzien, Andy Mulumba, Aaron Adams, Johnathan Franklin and Datone Jones stopped by Children's Hospital on Wednesday.
They met with kids in the common areas, and even met with those too sick to leave their beds.
The goal was to help spread a little cheer while the kids and their families are going through a rough time.
"I definitely understand their situation. I had a lot of family growing up in a hospital and it's tough. So to be there and putting a smile on their face, I know it means the world to them and it means the world to us too," Franklin said.
Franklin says he's been visiting Children's Hospitals since he was in college at UCLA.
