NBA: League not ready to okay Bucks' sale, but no issues expected
NEW YORK (WITI) -- The Milwaukee Business Journal is reporting that no issues are expected with the sale of the Milwaukee Bucks.
National Basketball Association commissioner Adam Silver said Friday that the league is not ready to approve the sale of the Milwaukee Bucks to two New York City hedge fund executives, but he does not anticipate any issues with the deal.
Speaking at a press conference in New York City after the NBA’s Board of Governor’s meeting ended Friday, Silver said there was no formal vote at the meeting on the proposed $550 million sale of the Bucks from Herb Kohl to Wesley Edens and Marc Lasry.
