Milwaukee Panthers trounced at Arkansas 84-54
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) — Bobby Portis had 18 points and 10 rebounds as Arkansas won its second game in three days with an 84-54 victory over Milwaukee-Wisconsin on Monday night.
The Razorbacks (9-2) have now won three straight since back-to-back road losses at Iowa State and Clemson, with Portis leading them in scoring in all three.
The 6-foot-11 sophomore has scored in double figures in all but one of Arkansas' games this season, and he's scored at least 18 points in five straight games.
Michael Qualls added 17 points for the Razorbacks, and either he or Portis have led Arkansas in scoring in 10 of 11 games this season.
Matt Tiby led the Panthers (5-8), who have lost four of five games, with 15 points. Steve McWhorter added 13 for Milwaukee, which shot just 28.8 percent (15 of 52) and committed 19 turnovers.
