Milwaukee Panthers soar past Cleveland State Vikings 88-54

MILWAUKEE — Matt Tiby scored 16 points and Milwaukee dominated Cleveland State 88-54 on Saturday.

Tiby was 4 of 6 from the field, hit two 3-pointers, grabbed seven rebounds and had three assists for Milwaukee (17-11, 8-7 Horizon). Cody Wichmann scored 12 points — all on 3-pointers — and Brock Stull added 11. The Panthers made 11 of 26 from beyond the arc and 29 of 36 from the line.

Cleveland State (8-20, 3-12) was led by Rob Edwards, who scored 18 points but turned it over 10 times. Demonte Flannigan added 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Milwaukee already led 29-16 midway through the first when the Panthers went on a 15-0 run over 5:18 to push the lead to 28 points en route to a 52-18 advantage at the break. The Vikings never mounted a threat in the second half.
