Marquette Golden Eagles beat Butler Bulldogs, 69-62

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The Marquette Golden Eagles beat the Butler Bulldogs 69-62 during their Tuesday night match-up at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.

Todd Mayo scored 17 points off the bench and  led a second-half charge from a 10-point deficit. Jamil Wilson scored 17 points as well; but was plagued with foul problems.

The Golden Eagles record is now 13-10 (5-5 in the Big East).
