Marquette falls to Butler in OT 69-57

INDIANAPOLIS (WITI)-- Despite leading 32-26 at the half the Marquette Golden Eagles fell 69-57 to Butler on Saturday. MU had a terrible 2nd half only scoring 17 points.  They also only scored 8 in over time.

Davante Gardner lead the Golden Eagles with a double double, 17 points and 10 rebounds.

Butlers' Khyle Marshall and Kellen Dunham lead the starters with 18 points. The victory gave the Bulldogs their first conference win of the season. They are now 1-5 in the Big East, Marquette is now 2-3.

Marquette will play at Georgetown on Monday.
