Marquette falls in OT to Villanova 94-85

MILWAUKEE (WITI)-- Despite a huge 2nd half rally where Todd Mayo scored 10 points, the Golden Eagles fell 94-85 to the number 4 Wildcats in overtime.

Nova's biggest killer was their three point shooting against MU. They finished 10-28 in 3s, while Marquette went 2-11. James Bell was huge for the Wildcats and put up 30 points, 4 rebounds.

Davante Gardner was MU's points leader, picking up a double double, 29 pts and 13 rebounds.  Todd Mayo was huge off the bench with 18 pts and 1 block.

The loss broke Marquette's 20 game home conference win streak.
