MILWAUKEE (WITI)-- The Crew was hoping to rebound Saturday after falling 5-0 to the Angels on Friday.
The Brewers jumped out ahead in the bottom of the 1st due to a 2 run Jonathan Lucroy double. The Crew fell to 3-2 in the bottom of the 3rd but battled back to tie it. The Angels came back on top in the 4th from a Chris Lannetta solo shot, but a Lucroy 2 run single in the bottom of the 7th put the Brewers on top again 5-4. The see saw continued in top of the 9th when Hank Conger hit a 2 run blast to make it 6-5 Halos.
The Crew couldn't get it done in the bottom of the 9th and fall 6-5. Pitcher Jim Henderson also snapped a streak. Going into tonight he had 12 consecutive saves.
The Crew was also 50-0 in games where they were leading after the 8th going into this game.
