Lohse is no dud, Brewers win 4-1

WASHINGTON-- Kyle Lohse pitched the Brewers to a Wednesday night win in Washington, 4-1 only days after seeing his previous start cut short by second inning rains on Sunday in Pittsburgh.  He did not appear to be out of routine at all, striking out seven while allowing only 4 hits and one homer in eight innings of work. Francisco Rodriguez pitched the ninth to earn the save and enhance his trade value.

Norichika Aoki singled home two runs in the top of the fifth inning to start the scoring and Logan Schafer tripled home the other two Milwaukee runs.

The teams play the finale to their four game series Thursday morning at 10am Milwaukee time.  The Brewers will be looking to take three of four from the sputtering Nationals.
