Lohse dominates in complete game shut out against Braves
ATLANTA (WITI)-- In a game that started off chaotic, Brewer's starter Kyle Lohse was dominant.
The game got messy in the bottom of the 1st when Carlos Gomez took a little time to admire his homer that made it 1-0 Crew. The Atlanta Braves, specifically first baseman Freddie Freeman and catcher Brian McCan, did not like this. McCan blocked Gomez from scoring and Freeman and Gomez ended up getting ejected after a brawl broke out.
Nori Aoki shine going 3 for 5 with 2 RBIs but it was Kyle Lohse that stole the show. Lohse picked up a complete game shut out on 89 pitches. Lohse allowed just 2 hits, walked none and struck out 5.
He became the 11th Brewer to ever complete this feat on less than 100 pitches.
