MILWAUKEE -- Kyle Lohse threw a complete game, and Carlos Gomez tied a career-high by driving in 5 runs in the Brewers 5-1 win over the Reds Friday night at Miller Park.
Lohse, who retired 23 in a row from the 2nd into the 9th inning-survived a rough start to notch his 10th win of the season. The complete game was his first since April of 2 thousand 11, covering a span of 89 games.
Aramis Ramirez had to leave the game after he took a pitch on the wrist.
Game 2 o the 3 game series is Saturday at noon.
