Kuhn back with Packers, Richardson returns
GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — All-Pro fullback John Kuhn is headed back to the Green Bay Packers.
Kuhn's agent, Kevin Gold, said the veteran signed a one-year deal with Green Bay on Monday for the minimum salary of $870,000. The contract includes a workout and Pro Bowl bonuses.
A fan favorite at Lambeau Field, Kuhn is used primarily as a blocker for lead running back Eddie Lacy.
Kuhn ran for 92 yards and a touchdown on 27 carries in 2014, including the postseason. He has 17 rushing touchdowns in nine NFL seasons.
The Pack also matched Oakland's offer sheet to restricted free agent Sean Richardson; the reserve safety and special teams standout receives a one-year, $2.55 million dollar contract, making him the 14th highest-paid player on the team.
