Knicks take bite out of Bucks in Big Apple 101-83

NEW YORK -- Carmelo Anthony scored 41 points, tying a New York Knicks record with his 3rd straight 40 point game in the hosts 101-83 win over the Bucks.

The Bucks led by nine in the 3rd quarter when Anthony and J.R. Smith fueled a 25 to 2 3rd quarter run.  Jason Kidd made a 59 foot three pointer to end the ugly quarter.

Brandon Jennings led Milwaukee with 25 points; J.J. Redick added 18.

The Bucks magic number for clinching a playoff berth remained at 2 when Philadelphia won at Atlanta.
