Jungmann pitches seven strong innings, Davis hits two-run double, Brewers beat Pirates 6-1

MILWAUKEE — Rookie Taylor Jungmann pitched seven strong innings, Khris Davis hit a two-run double and the Milwaukee Brewers beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 6-1 Sunday, July 19th for a sweep.

Jungmann (5-1), added to the Brewers' roster in early June, won his third straight decision. He gave up one run and five hits.

Pittsburgh had won 13 of 16 going into the All-Star break before losing three straight at Miller Park.

Jeff Locke (5-6) allowed three runs in 7 1-3 innings.
