Jermichael Finley thanks Packers fans for their support, prayers

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Green Bay Packers tight end Jermichael Finley tweeted Monday evening, October 21st to thank his fans for their support and prayers.

The following tweets were sent out shortly after 7 p.m.







To recap, Finley said on Twitter Monday evening, "I want to thank my family, friends, teammates, fans and Packer Nation for the prayers and support over the past 24 hours." Finley says he's been transferred out of the intensive care unit -- and that he has full feeling in his arms and legs. He says he was able to walk to and from the shower today.

Packers Head Coach Mike McCarthy said on Monday the team will press on and play to win their next game at Minnesota Sunday night. When and if Finley is able to rejoin the team on the field remains to be seen.
