High-scoring Cedar Grove-Belgium punches ticket to Championship Game




SLINGER -- Cedar Grove-Belgium took on Clinton with the winner heading to Madison for the Division 5 Championship game. Early on the Rockets Josh Weiss set a state record with most touchdown passes in a season. Hitting Matt Dirkes for the score and the 28-to-21 lead in the 3rd quarter. But Clinton ties it up with a QB run. Weiss also can use his legs, running for the score and making it 35-to-28. Then
Rockets Reid Hilbelink runs in another score. Clinton scores again, but never gets any close. Cedar Grover-Belgium will play Thursday for a state title.
