Gilbert Brown continues campaign against bullying in Hales Corners Sunday

HALES CORNERS (WITI) -- Former Packers player Gilbert Brown showed up at a Packers vs. Cowboys viewing party on Sunday, December 15th in Hales Corners.

Brown has been campaigning against bullies.

He says he grew up in the "inner city" of Detroit, and was a big kid -- and he says he was picked on.

However, he says he couldn't fight back.

He gave one example why -- and it actually got a laugh.

"I know I probably could've hurt the guy -- but then Mama gonna beat me up when I get home! So I thought twice about it," Brown said.

Brown says teachers, counselors and principals need to "step up."

He gave the talk inside the clubhouse at the new "Alyson Dudek International Ice Center."

Alyson Dudek is an Olympic speed skater from Hales Corners, and has also campaigned against bullying.
