Former Packers safety Nick Collins retires from NFL
MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Former Green Bay Packers safety Nick Collins announced through Twitter on Tuesday, August 19th that he's officially retiring from the NFL.
Collins was a three-time Pro Bowler. But his career seemingly came to an end in week two of the 2011 season -- when he suffered a neck injury in a game with the Carolina Panthers.
Collins had 417 tackles, 63 pass deflections and 21 interceptions in seven seasons in the NFL.
