Ellis parts ways with Bucks

MILWAUKEE -- Monta Ellis has opted out of the final year of his contract with the Milwaukee Bucks; that move allows the 8 year veteran guard to test the free agent market.
The Bucks had offered Ellis a two-year, 24 million dollar extension, contingent upon his not opting out of that final year (at 11 million dollars).
The Ellis decision allows the team to explore all options heading into the NBA Draft on June 27th; that includes what to do with restricted free agent guard Brandon Jennings.
