DOT: Traffic snarls for fans headed to Packers Family Fun Night
MADISON (AP) -- Green Bay Packers fans headed to the Family Fun night on Friday are being warned about possible traffic snarls.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation warns that many roads in the area are under construction and may result in delays coming and going from the Packers scrimmage.
The DOT says most projects will stop and two lanes of traffic will be open, backups are still possible.
On Highway 41 in Brown County, travel lanes are reduced to just 11 feet and shoulders are also more narrow on a 10-mile segment of the highway.
State Highway 29 in Brown County also has restrictions for five miles both east and westbound between County Highway FF and Highway 41.
Traffic on Interstate 43 at the Leo Frigo Bridge is reduced to a single lane.
