Close but...Bucks lose fifth straight

MILWAUKEE -- The Bucks put forth one of their best efforts in weeks Monday night in their regular season home finale, but all they have to show for it is a 112-111 loss to the Nuggets.  The final two of Ty Lawson's 24 points gave Denver and coach George Karl the narrow win.

Monta Ellis scored 38 points in the game, 19 of them in the fourth period.  His three point play and free throw for a four point play had given the home team a 111-110 advantage with about 14 seconds to play.

The Bucks wrap up the regular season Wednesday night at Oklahoma CIty (their only game there all year), before opening the playoffs at Miami.
