Cardinals chirp again, Crew falls, 7-2

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Brewers pitcher Yovani Gallardo didn't deserve another loss to the Cardinals, but he was pinned with his eleventh in twelve decisions, 7-2, Saturday night at Miller Park.

Gallardo gave up a 2-run homer to Matt Adams in the first inning, then settled down to retire 14 of 15 batters.

He left trailing 2-1, but St. Louis put a five spot on the board in the 8th inning.
Milwaukee has lost 14 of 18 games to the division leaders this year.

The two teams meet again Sunday night in the Brewers season finale at Miller Park.
