Calling all aspiring fashion designers: Brewers introduce “Fan-Shirt Friday Design Contest"

MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Brewers are calling all aspiring fashion designers today with the announcement of the “Fan-Shirt Friday Design Contest.”

According to a press release, on select Fridays throughout the season, fans who arrive at Miller Park receive a custom Brewers-themed T-shirt. This year, one of the shirts will come from a fan design. This marks the first time in the four-year history of Brewers “Free-Shirt Fridays” that fans will have an opportunity to submit their best ideas, with the winning Brewers-themed design distributed to the first 20,000 fans on Friday, June 16 when the Crew takes on the San Diego Padres.

Here’s how it works:

The winning artist will not only have the honor of having their artwork made into a promotional item for the first 20,000 fans, but will also receive an assortment of additional prizes. Prizes include 50 T-shirts featuring his or her winning design as well as a signed and framed photo of a Brewers player wearing the shirt. In addition, they will receive four Field Infield Box tickets to a 2017 Brewers home game and the opportunity to watch batting practice on the field prior to the contest.

For more information about the 2017 giveaway schedule and information on various ticket plans, fans are encouraged to visit Brewers.com.
