Bucks slide into the playoffs continues with loss in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE (WITI) -- In their final regular season game against an Eastern Conference opponent, the Milwaukee Bucks fall for the 4th straight game 95-85 to the Charlotte Bobcats.

The Bucks rarely led in the game, their biggest lead was 11-6 in the 1st quarter. Their final lead was in the early moments of the 2nd quarter at 25-24 when Ish Smith scored. After that it was a battle with the lowly Bobcats who are now just 19-61 this season. The Bucks fell to 37-43 and have guaranteed themselves a match up with the Miami Heat in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Both Brandon Jennings and Larry Sanders sat out of Saturday night's game with minor injuries. Both players are listed as day to day.

The Bucks lacked offense as Mike Dunleavy was their leading scorer with 19 points off the bench. Monta Ellis added 16, including a bucket to tie the game at 51 in the 3rd quarter. But that was the closest Milwaukee would get the rest of the way.

On Monday, the Bucks will have their final home game of the regular season when Denver comes to the Bradley Center. Then they'll finish on the road at Oklahoma City on Wednesday before opening the post season in Miami.
