Bucks share in 6th straight win

PORTLAND -- The Milwaukee Bucks continue to play team basketball. They dished out 35 assists in Tuesday night's 116-87 pounding of the Trail Blazers in Portland. The victory was their sixth in a row and second straight on the road.

Scott Skiles team shot a season-best 57.8 percent from the field. The bench outscored Portland's 45 to 9.  The victory allowed Milwaukee to stay within a half game of the New York Knicks for the eighth and final playoff spot.

Six players scored in double figures for the Bucks, led by Drew Gooden with 19. Monta Ellis scored 14 points and handed out a team-high 9 assists.  Former Marquette star Wesley Matthews dropped in 21 points for the Blazers.

Boston comes to the Bradley Center on Thursday night.
