Bucks fall to Raptors in home opener, 97-90
MILWAUKEE (WITI)-- Despite a huge effort from the home team, the Bucks fall 97-90 to Toronto in their home opener at the BMO Harris Bradley Center Saturday night.
O.J. Mayo lead the Bucks in scoring with 16 points. He also picked up 6 boards and 8 assists. Mayo hit back to back 3's in the 4th to tie it at 85 but Rudy Gay and the Raptors proved to be too much. Gay finished with 18 points on the night.
Bucks' Rookie Guard Nate Wolters picked up his first career start and finished with 7 points. Ersan Llyasova was also productive and right behind Mayo with 14 points.
The Bucks have only dropped 2 out of their last 11 Home Openers. The funny part about the stat is that both losses were against Toronto.
The Bucks will host Cleveland on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. CT.
