Bucks cut down Nets gain 8th playoff spot

NEWARK, NJ -- The Milwaukee Bucks earned their third-straight win on Monday night, 105-99 over the Nets in New Jersey.  That victory, combined with the New York Knicks sixth-straight loss (in Chicago) lifted the Bucks into the eighth and final playoff spot by virtue of a tiebreaker.

Brandon Jennings helped Scott Skiles squad overcome another double-digit deficit by pouring in 34 points, seven assists and seven rebounds. He made six three pointers.  Drew Gooden added 23 points, eight rebounds and a season-high seven assists as Milwaukee won road games on consecutive nights.

The win came despite a four-point night by an exhausted Ersan Ilyasova, who was named Eastern Conference Player of the Week earlier in the day.
